About

I have been sewing ever since my grandmother taught me as a young girl. After my son was born I chose to sew as an enjoyable way to earn a living and keep my son with me while I work.

My intention is to create quality apparel that is functional, comfortable, stylish, and environmentally compatible.

It is very important to me, in all areas of my life, to consider my personal impact on the environment. Consequently,  the materials I use are made from natural fibers, organic whenever possible, dyed in a sustainable way, and occasionally repurposed. Additionally, I assemble all of my garments on a treadle sewing machine, therefore saving electricity.
